GENERAL

1)Soapbox Derby forms are trickling in. Every grade 6 learner is encouraged to bring at least one full form in support of our awesome school and our very committed parents who are organizing this fun event.
Our theme is 'Italy' and we would like to start decorating our passageway accordingly. The idea is that we do not buy anything for this. Either make or bring decorations you already have. Please would you support us in this.
We will be dressing up on the day but I am sure parents from the PTA will let us know what they have decided.

2) We have hardly received any contributions the PTA has asked for. Please support us in this too.

This morning in Praise and Woraship we learnt that the Easter egg:

  • symbolises the new life we have in Jesus who died in our place
  • symbolises the empty tomb
  • symbolises the stone that was rolled away in front of the tomb
Also, God is more concerned with what is inside of us, than about our outward appearance.
